I love the CrossFit Open. One of the reasons is the level of intensity that the energy and excitement brings out of everyone. We have seen athletes do some incredible things. Such as hit PRs, push through mental barriers, and perform high skill movements for the first time! We still have 3 more workouts to see amazing performances.
The key to keeping the intensity high is to make good training choices through the week. A good training choice is one that aligns with our long-term training goal. Your long-term goal might not need you to perform the Open workouts to your maximum ability. That could be counterproductive to your goals.
Always make sure your daily training approach aligns with your long-term goals.
We will be creating time slots for you to schedule a goals discussion with a coach. It will be an opportunity to update your current goals or create some if you do not already have them!
